Our Unique Approach To Tick Control

The best time to begin a Tick control program is in spring before summer. But if you’re struggling with a full-blown infestation, Ticks must be controlled at every stage of their life cycle. The team at Kipp’s Pest Control knows how to kill ticks and prevent future generations from breeding, giving you the long-term protection you deserve.

1. TICK INSPECTION

We’ll first determine the severity of the infestation by inspecting the entire property. If you’re dealing with a tick problem, we’ll explain treatment options and pricing before moving forward with our tick treatment.

2. INTERIOR TREATMENT

We’ll carefully apply liquid residual and insect growth regulators (IGR) on all floor surfaces, paying attention to the areas your pets spend time. Not only does this approach kill ticks on contact, but it also interrupts the breeding cycle. Depending on the severity of the infestation, a second treatment may be necessary. The IGR treatment can last 6-12 months.

3. EXTERIOR TREATMENT

We’ll carefully spray a combination of liquid residual and insect growth regulator (IGR) to the areas your pet(s) frequent or wherever there is tick activity. We also spray shrubs, lawn, around the perimeter of the house, and possibly the walls of the house.
